Description
My name is Lamya Haji Bashar. I am 24 years young and live in Germany. I was in IS captivity from August 2014 to 2016. I was able to feel the atrocities of the IS on a daily basis during my captivity. I would like to work to combat violence against women, especially sexualized violence. Victims, especially Yezidi women, of such acts must experience justice and I would like to raise my voice for this.
