Description
Jason Kenworthy is the CEO of the SMD ILIV Group. Located in Britain the company designs beautiful interior textiles that are manufactured in Europe and the Far East and sold to over 50 countries worldwide.
Jason joined SMD, a start-up business in 1987 and led a buyout of the other equity partners in 2003. Through acquisition and organic growth the team have built a multinational operation serving both high end residential and contract market sectors. He’d reference his core skills as brand, marketing, sales development, culture, strategy, negotiation and global trade.
As a member of YPO for over 10 years the organisation has provided Jason with the support to completely change the strategic direction of the business, meet many inspirational leaders, make some great friends around the world, see outstanding resources and serve the organisation at a local, regional and international level.
As a father of two girls and two boys he has a particular passion for ensuring equal opportunities for all and the power of diverse thinking.
