Description
Aviva Markowicz is an advocate for gender equality, specialised in women's leadership and female empowerment through entrepreneurship. Today, she supports various organisations, both public and private, on these important issues. In her work as COO of Empow’Her she has developed a strong capacity to analyze gender dynamics in agricultural and rural ecosystems, to develop a systemic approach to gender issues, as well as interactive and innovative formats adapted to vulnerable (mainly illiterate) population. In her previous role at a startup incubator, she evaluated and developed entrepreneurial ecosystems internationally in leading (New York) and emerging (Casablanca, Mexico DF, Bangalore...) ecosystems. She is now a speaker on Gender Equality & Women's Leadership.
