Insula orchestra / accentus
Laurence Equilbey, musical director of Insula orchestra and accentus, combines artistic excellence with an open and innovative approach. After studying music in Paris, Vienna, and London, she founded the accentus choir in 1993, exploring the vast repertoire of vocal music. In 2012, she established Insula orchestra with the support of the Hauts-de-Seine Department. The period-instrument orchestra began a residency at La Seine Musicale on Île Seguin in April 2017. Actively involved in education, Laurence Equilbey is also the artistic and pedagogical director of the Higher Department for Young Singers | CRR de Paris.
