Description
Boriana Tchobanova is Chief Transformation Officer for American Express Global Business Travel (GBT), leading business transformation, M&A integration, servicing operations and strategic projects.
After starting her career in marketing and business development with the energy industry in the US, Boriana spent 14 years at American Express in New York holding roles of increasing responsibility, including Chief Operating Officer for the company’s digital group and Head of M&A Integration. During her tenure at American Express, Boriana successfully led multiple business transformation functions and championed some of the company’s largest enterprise-wide change initiatives. She joined American Express GBT in 2020 upon relocating to London where she is now based with her family. Outside of work, Boriana supports various non-profit causes through board service, fundraising, and strategic consultation, and is an Angel investor. She holds an MBA from the University of New Orleans.
