Claudine Schmuck is the Founder and Managing Director of Global Contact, which provides management consulting to CEOs and decision makers with focus on innovation, NTIC and change management. She is also an expert working with the European Commission, and as such collaborates regularly with DG Research. Since 2008 under a direction Global Contact conducts Gender Scan a global survey on gender balance in STEM with the support of leading global corporations in STEM such as the Orange Group, Engie or global networks such as SWE. Ms. Schmuck started her career as an executive assistant in the Cabinet of the Ministry of Industry, Research and Trade in France, she then moved on to McKinsey Consulting in New York where she managed and organized global seminars on globalization of mass media. She taught NTIC at the CELSA Paris IV Sorbonne during ten years, and is the author of two books : Introduction of Multimédia (1995), Women in STEM disciplines (2017). Ms. Schmuck graduated from the Institute of Political Science in Paris and has a Masters degree from Columbia University. She is president of Science Po NTIC professional group, and member of European Professional Women Network, European Women in Leadership.
