Description
Nowadays, technology is everywhere: it affects all dimensions of the economy and society such as education, consumption and health. This is particularly true for Artificial Intelligence. It is crucial for AI applications to be built upon a system respecting data sovereignty and security, in order to guarantee a safe and ethical digital environment. Since AI has a growing influence on the way we work and live, it will only fulfil this potential if everyone participates equally in its development and implementation. The high-level speakers will describe how they are creating an ecosystem where AI is designed by diverse teams and conceived upon reliable gender-disaggregated data. They will also illustrate the potential of responsible AI to redress women’s status in society.
How are public authorities and private organisations capitalising on women to empower AI and drive it forward? How can we encourage them to use AI as a powerful asset to shape a more inclusive world?
