Description

Marco Alverà, born in New York, has been the CEO of Snam since April 2016. With more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, he holds a degree in Philosophy and Economics from the London School of Economics. Marco is non-executive Director of S&P Global, member of the Board of the Giorgio Cini Foundation in Venice, of the Italian Institute for International Political Studies and Visiting Fellow of Oxford University. He is also Vice President of Fondazione Snam and co-founder of the Kenta Foundation, promoting gender balance and combating educational poverty. Marco wrote the books ‘Hydrogen Revolution’ and ‘Zhero’ on hydrogen’s potential in the fight against climate change.
