The social and human dimensions of climate change should not be neglected. Acting as a ‘threat multiplier’, climate change
strengthens socio-economic and gender inequalities, and bears a disproportionate impact on marginalised and minority communities, as
well as those living in conflict areas and rural regions. How can we adopt solutions that reflect the complexity and interconnectedness of
social and environmental issues, to empower women and ensure a just and inclusive climate action?
