Technology can be seen as a lever for emancipation in many ways: it can help access to information, education, economic empowerment, activism, political engagement or expression. While technology can be a powerful lever for emancipation, it's essential to recognize that it also comes with challenges. Issues like the digital divide, data privacy, algorithmic bias, and the concentration of power in tech companies need to be addressed to ensure that technology truly serves as a force for emancipation and not as a new form of oppression.
