Women have always shown forms of active civic engagement, despite being officially denied participation in public fora until relatively recently. To this day, due to long-standing patriarchal systems and persisting gender biases, women tend to be in the vast minority when it comes to political roles. How can education be a tool of acceleration to grow womens’ presence in political leadership?
