Description
Paolo Ribotta began his career in 1989 with UAP - Union des Assurances de Paris - as an international Underwriter in Paris, and then took the responsibility for the coordination of property and casualty underwriting for Southern Europe.
Paolo joined Zurich Insurance in 1997, where he spent seven years as Head of Corporate business at Zurich International in Italy and another seven years as Managing Director of Zurich France.
In 2011, he joined XL Insurance in London with responsibility of all the Countries’ network and Customer & Distribution management.
In 2012, he joined Generali to create and lead the Global Corporate and Commercial business unit. Then in 2019, he became Managing Director of Generali Employee Benefit & Global Health in Luxembourg.
As of May 2023, Paolo serves as Managing Director of Zurich France.
Ribotta holds a degree in Economics from the LUISS University of Rome and he was appointed Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum in 2005.
