Description

Haila Amin is a youth intersectional advocate, a PhD researcher at HEC Paris, and is training to become a barrister in England and Wales at the Honorable Society of the Inner Temple. She was the first-ever person to graduate both from Columbia University and Sciences Po Paris in only three years, receiving two bachelor's degrees in the discipline of Politics, Economics and Philosophy. She represented FEMM Foundation at the United Nations, Youth and Environment Europe in Stockholm+50, and World Youth Alliance Europe at the European Parliament. Her public speaking engagement at United Nations, Emerging Leaders Conference Asia-Pacific, United States Academic Decathlon, United Finance-Econ-Business Summit, Yale Center Beijing covers the topic of preventive reproductive healthcare, the socio-economic consequences of unnatural selection, the power of interdisciplinarity, and grassroots entrepreneurship. She believes in the potential of identifying intersectional challenges and coming up with intersectional solutions.
