Description
Elsa, a law graduate, started her career away from the media industry, initially joining L'Oréal within the office of the company��s Head of HR. She subsequently moved to L’Oreal’s in-house idea incubator Lascad, a company unicorn within the Consumer Products Division that achieved noteworthy success by developing and launching products through integrated teams at an unprecedented pace. After six years at L'Oréal, Elsa seized the opportunity to become part of the founding team at Big Mamma Group (BMG), a company that has significantly disrupted the hospitality industry in France and Europe over the past decade. As HR Director at BMG, Elsa rapidly built and developed a workforce exceeding 1,000 employees, earning her the "HR Director of the Year" award from Les Echos in 2018.
By 2020, Elsa had attracted the attention of Brut’s co-founders, Guillaume Lacroix and Renaud Le Van Kim, leading her to spearhead the structuring of their burgeoning media company’s human resources. Committed to addressing inclusion, Elsa also led the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives, achieving B Corp certification and establishing Brut as the first media company to earn this distinction.
In September 2023, Elsa advanced to the position of Chief Operating Officer of the company. On a personal note, Elsa is married and the mother of two young children, aged two and four.
