Description

Aïssatou is a multifaceted development professional working at the intersection of law, government and finance. She serves as Senior Counsel at the World Bank’s Legal Vice Presidency in Washington DC and Abidjan, on sustainable development, infrastructure, and regional integration projects. Aïssatou also supports capacity-building for economic actors in Africa. She began her career in Banking & Finance in international law firms in Paris before joining the UN’s International Telecommunication Union in Geneva, supporting digital inclusion projects globally. An active advisor, investor and mentor, she was recognized for her work as a "Leader Africa" by the Obama Foundation. Aïssatou holds an MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, an MBA from ESSEC Business School, and a Master’s in International Law from the University of Paris Dauphine.
