Bayard

Executive Director

Description

Sibylle Le Maire is Bayard Group's Executive Director in charge of Development. She founded Club Landoy, a think tank dedicated to the demographic transition and social transformation of companies (2019). Club Landoy brings together 24 companies and their executives, mainly from the CAC 40 (L'Oréal, BNP, Dassault Systèmes, Axa, Sanofi, Caisse des Dépôts, EDF, Orange, Casino...etc.), and aims to bring out new approaches and innovative solutions to take concrete action in favor of social progress. In June 2024, on the Club's initiative, 136 companies signed the first inter-company agreement on the place of employees over 50 in the company. She is behind the creation of ViveS, the first media for women who dare to talk about money, which accompanies the career paths of women over 45. ViveS is driven by the conviction that women's progress also depends on increasing their economic and financial expertise. The media is developing into a 100% digital ecosystem with a weekly newsletter, a podcast "Osons l'oseille" and a training and financial education program via video capsules. She is a member of the board of Forces Femmes, an association that supports unemployed women over 45 in their efforts to return to work and start their own businesses. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Emeis, a leading provider of comprehensive care for the elderly. She is a member of the Duval Group's Africa Strategy Council.

Financial Empowerment: A catalyst for equality

Description
Empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary for making informed economic decisions and achieving financial independence is vital for achieving equality and social justice. However, women have often faced a subtle yet pervasive form of violence: economic discrimination. This type of violence not only impacts women's daily lives but also affects society as a whole, as true equality cannot be achieved if a portion of the population is financially constrained and unable to fully engage in the economy. To bridge this gap, we must provide women with greater economic access, financial literacy, and opportunities for independence and empowerment. How can we combat economic violence both on a small and large scale? What steps can we take to ensure that women are fully integrated into economic growth and societal development? And what role does each of us play in supporting their financial empowerment?
