WeQual Global Ltd

Founder

Description

Founder of WeQual, TEDx Speaker, broadcaster, mother, and equality campaigner — is breaking down the barriers women face in reaching the highest levels of corporate leadership. Katie’s journey began at the Financial Times in London, where, as the Executive Director of ‘The 125’ (a forum for global leaders), she quickly became aware of the stark underrepresentation of women in leadership roles in the largest companies in the world. Following her passion for change, Katie established WeQual. Katie’s vision for WeQual is rooted in her belief that talent should be recognised and rewarded, regardless of gender. The prestigious WeQual Awards shine a spotlight on women who are ready to take the next step into the C-suite, offering them the support, visibility, and networks they need to succeed. As the founder of WeQual, she has created a global platform designed to dismantle the barriers that prevent women from reaching executive positions. Her approach is both visionary and deeply personal, driven by a desire to ensure that the next generation of leaders is seen and heard. WeQual has become a transformative force, dedicated to advancing diversity and inclusion in leadership. Some of the largest companies in the world, including HEINEKEN, IBM, Sanofi, Coca-Cola HBC, and Prologis work with WeQual to drive equality in their organisations. Katie is a sought-after speaker; she has been featured on podcasts, in Harper’s Bazaar, where she discussed “How to Think Bigger and Aim Higher,” and appeared on TEDx addressing the topic of, “Tackling Gender Parity at the Top of the World’s Largest Companies.” Katie was also the keynote speaker for Randstad, addressing their 9,000 employees worldwide. Katie’s work with top organisations has cemented her as a leading voice in corporate diversity and inclusion.

Human-centric organisations: Promoting dialogue and growth for all talents

Description
Latest reports show that the newer generations place a particular importance on sharing the same values as their company and feeling supported in their overall self-development, also outside the work sphere. Inclusive dialogue and development in the workplace mean cultivating open, respectful communication that values diverse perspectives and experiences in the workplace. This approach fosters collaboration, innovation, and personal growth, ensuring equal opportunities for development and advancement within the organisation, as well as bringing richness to a company. How do companies create such environments? How do they keep their talents and have them grow in the long term? And what soft skills are becoming more and more important in this human centric approach?
